Guiding Communications Through the AI Transition: Redefining the value of communicators in the AI era

  • The Wellington Club 88 The Terrace Wellington, Wellington, 6011 New Zealand (map)

Communicators are entering an era where creative thinking and critical analysis will increasingly become the key value proposition of our industry. Join Emily Broadmore of Heft Communications and Lawrence Green, from Leadership Success NZ, to hear about emerging capability gaps and thoughtful leadership principles to help you support your communications and engagement teams into the AI era.

Emily will speak about the changing role of communicators, where new ways of thinking and skillsets will be necessary for comms and engagement practitioners. For leaders, this impacts graduate roles and what we expect for young people entering these fields. Emily will speak in particular to the inequity that has emerged between junior and senior communicators, which is leaving young people behind overseas and resulting in fewer graduate roles.

Lawrence will discuss how to develop an AI-ready leadership mindset, addressing the complexities of AI-centred organisational change, and supporting you to foster an environment where human expertise and AI capabilities can complement each other.

This free event is for communications leaders and managers, who wish to turn their minds to where the industry is heading, and what they can start to do to support their teams and communications colleagues through the AI transition.
